Voluntary PreKindergarten

If your child was four (4) years old before September 1, 2007
your child is eligible for the current VPK School Year Program OR the upcoming VPK Summer Program.

If your child will turn four (4) years old before September 1, 2008
your child is eligible for the 07-08 VPK School Year Program OR the 2008 VPK Summer Program.

Regional Director Collaborative

    

Each month a Director’s Collaborative will be scheduled in one of the four Coalition regions.  These meetings are for Directors/Administrators and will include:

  • Up-dates on Coalition activities and time to share ideas and concerns.
  • A portion of the 2-hour meeting will include a training session relevant to the administration of an Early Education and Care business.  Marge Campany, VPK Regional Facilitator from the Department of Education will present these courses.
  • Meeting participants will earn .2 CEU’s

All meetings are scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm

Each regional meeting will have the same training topic for the 4 area rotation cycle.  Directors/Administrators will attend one evening meeting every 4th month!
